On a purely selfish note, it leaves me in a situation where my immediate cognitive and sensory load becomes a lot heavier. Given I'm also working four days a week in a job where I'm supporting the team which is directly responsible for COVID-19 preparation and awareness for my employer (a large disability support provider in the Perth metro area), this is not something I really need right this second. Especially since my main means of stress relief (swimming) has been taken off the list due to COVID as well.

Good luck. I wish I could offer to go shop for you. O:(

Unfortunately, the thing which is the biggest problem with other people doing the shopping for me is I have to basically condense three lists in my head ("things I regularly buy", "things I might pick up if they're on special", and "things I won't buy because they're disliked for whatever reason") and one physical list ("things we need this week") into something that someone else can use, which often means getting right down to brands, quantities, and explanations like "this is something we really need, so buy it regardless of the price", "this is something where you get whatever's cheapest" and "this can be skipped or ignored, it's only there because I fancied some this week and it's on special" and similar. This is actually more cognitive load and stress than going out into the store and picking the things off the shelves myself, no matter how miserable I'm feeling.
