Well, the COVID has largely gone. I've regained my sense of smell back to its normal (low) levels, and the only remaining issue is a persistent cough and a bit of vocal congestion (or in other words, it's easier to be using a chest voice than a head voice, and people can hear the difference).

Meanwhile, back just before I'd caught the COVID, I'd done something to my right ankle, and this still hasn't fixed itself up. So I took myself to the GP on Monday, and he's sent me off to get a scan (booked for the 25th) to determine whether my ATFL is sprained or torn. I'm suspecting it might be a tear, myself, simply because it's been about two weeks and the only direction things are going is worse. So one of the things I'm going to be doing on Monday is seeing whether there's a physio somewhere local that can book me in to get the ankle at least strapped up a bit to prevent it wobbling all over the place and give it a chance to heal properly. In the meantime, it's ibuprofen (for the anti-inflammatory properties) and paracetamol (for painkilling) and lots of not moving too much or too fast.

I'm glad the covid's mostly gone! Good luck with the ankle.
