The Dreamwidth Account

I took up swimming about a month or so back. Every day, after work, I stop off at the local swimming pool, and do half an hour of laps (swimming and walking). It's very helpful and relaxing, and I'm getting stronger as I go (up to 200m swimming so far, currently as 1x 150m, 1x 50m).

1) Toast with lime marmalade for breakfast.
2) Quiet days at home gaming.
3) Pleasant weather.

Got a new phone yesterday (Samsung A30). The folks at the shop that sold me the new one were rather surprised by my old one - "haven't seen one of those in a while" sort of stuff. Shifted all the contact details over, and now the new phone is the main phone, while the old one has decided it wanted to grow up to be a paperweight.

Also hence this compromise. Three sentences is an easy amount to string together inside about five minutes at the beginning of the day. It doesn't say much, but I hope it says enough.

But I'm winding up with less free time than I previously had. Particularly since I've taken up going swimming on the way home from work as a way of dealing with stress. I end my days physically tired, and intellectually wrecked.

Why am I doing this? Well, it's a long story. I'll tell it to you, three sentences at a time.

I'm going to be trying to do a bit more on Dreamwidth. So I'm going to try for a short post every day, maximum three sentences. This is today's.
