Apparently their plan to monetize things once they had the app up and going involved reputation repair tools. Given one of the founders is a marketing type running a couple of recruiting firms (and is the type of tone-deaf ninny who thinks making jokes about suicide is a good way of advertising one of them) I find this eminently believable. Hopefully they're reconsidering things (or being forced to reconsider things) in the light of all the negative responses they're getting online.
