I wanted to give up half way through that article and only stuck with it so I could be "fair" when reading your reaction ... which is very close to mine.

I think the thing for me was the complaint that Even the word “woman” has come under assault by some of the very people who claim the right to be considered women.

"not everyone who needs access to abortion is a woman" and "not everyone with a penis is a man" do not seem very difficult concepts to me ...
