megpie71: Simplified Bishie Sephiroth says "Neat!" (Enthuse)
Tuesday, February 28th, 2017 07:19 am
Another month over. Here's my three articles from my mainstream media feeds about "what went right" for the day.

Crisis care provider AccordWest opens new office as circle closes on personal story by Michael Black (ABC South West WA)

AccordWest is a crisis care provider whose main efforts go toward co-ordinating local support services and facilitating access to local providers of these. They've just opened up a new office in Manjimup.

Home care funding changes set to help older Australians by Tom Wilde (ABC Western Australia)

The federal government is making a small, but hopefully crucial change in the way home-care funding is provided. Instead of the funding being provided to the home-care provision services in the customer's name, instead the funding is to be provided to the customer directly, and they get to shop around for services which suit their situation.

Sirius building's architect wants more inclusive Sydney as landmark opens to public by Mark Reddie (ABC New South Wales)

The architect who designed the Sirius building (in Sydney's "The Rocks" district) is offering tours of the building during Art Month in Sydney. Tao Gofers will be talking about the design and the role of the building as social housing, and there's also a chance some of the few remaining residents will be open to meeting with the public and sharing their views on living in the city.

So there's my three. If you've found a story or two about what went right in your news feeds, why not share a link and boost the signal in the comments?
